ON THE JOB
A Few Highlights

GRINDER BASIN REPLACEMENT
This Grinder Pump System was installed incorrectly, with the incoming line only 12" from the bottom causing sewage to back up into the house before the pump could engage - only solution was to install a deeper basin.

JAMMED PUMPS
If your pump is frequently getting jammed, it could be that your pump needs to be replaced. In this situation, a pair of underwear was jammed in the cutter causing the pump to burn up - only solution was a new pump.

RED LIGHT
If the red light on the panel for your Grinder Pump System is "on", the best thing to do is to turn the breaker "off" and call a qualified technician, before the problem causes major damage. In this situation, the light was "on" for days before a call was made, resulting in permanent pump damage - this required a new pump.

COSTLY CONTENTS
Many items are flushed into a Grinder Pump System that can cause serious damage to your pump and floats. Roots and groundwater (especially in sandy areas) can cause the same damage. A simple (and cheap) solution in a preventative maintenance plan performed by a qualified technician.
