WHAT IS A GRINDER PUMP

A grinder pump is a submersible pump that is designed to "grind or cut" solids, that come from the sewage lines of your home or business, and then force these smaller pieces (with the liquid) into a main sewer line.

WHAT IS A GRINDER PUMP SYSTEM

A grinder pump system consists of a basin (or tank), a grinder pump, an electrical panel (designed based off of the model of pump), floats or pressure switches, and the valves and plumbing contained inside of the basin.

WHY IS MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT

Maintenance of your grinder pump system is key in achieving the maximum life of your pump and system (just like changing the oil in your car, rotating and/or replacing tires, etc.). Maintenance will not only help you achieve the most out of your system, but it will also show you potential problems that can be fixed before they irreversible damage or sewage spills in your yard.
